So what is this exactly?
You’ll get a full day of my time (7 hours) to spend on whatever you need me to work on, plus a 1 hour strategy call, plus 30 days of email support.
When you schedule a design intensive, you are booking me for the DAY, to work on anything you want. How much we are able to accomplish depends on your quick response to my messages throughout our day and thoroughly completing the prep work prior to starting.

Book your intensive
After purchasing, you’ll receive a very important email that includes all the info you need, including access to your comprehensive brand strategy guide & workbook, and a link to schedule your intensive date and pre-intensive call.

Pre-Intensive Strategy Call
A few days before your intensive date, we’ll have a 1-hour strategy call where we go over the prep work you’ve completed as well as come up with a plan, answer any remaining questions, and make sure we’re all ready to go for the VIP Day.

VIP Day
On the day of your intensive, we will communicate via an instant messaging service of choice, and we’ll knock out your list! It is a very collaborative process, so you’ll need to be virtually “available” that day to provide feedback.

So basically you are hiring me for a full, dedicated day to work on whatever you need me to work on – a list of website updates, fixes, or even a brand new simple 1-3 page website.*
If the list of tasks you need me to complete will take longer than a day (or if you want me to build you a slightly more complex website) you can book me for multiple days. If you think this is the case, book a free 20-minute consultation call where we’ll discuss your needs and decide how many days would be needed.
You’ll need to be available on the day of your intensive to provide quick feedback via a chat app (like Google chat). Your quick feedback and collaboration will ensure I can get as much done in one day as possible.
Here’s a rundown of what you can expect:
You’ll pay the upfront 50% deposit fee (or optionally pay in full)below, then immediately following payment you’ll be prompted to choose the day of your intensive (your “VIP day”).
You’ll also receive an important email shortly after paying with a link to schedule your pre-intensive strategy call, as well as all the info about your prep-work.
While waiting for your VIP day, you’ll work on your prep-work. It is very important that you complete this worksheet at least 5 days prior to your intensive, to give me time to look over it before our strategy call.
We’ll have an hour-long strategy call a few days before your intensive to prioritize your list of tasks and make sure we’re on the same page with everything. If you paid a 50% deposit, your balance will be due before the date of your intensive.
On the day of your intensive, we’ll communicate via a chat app (like Google chat) – I’ll provide you with updates throughout the day to get your feedback and allow for quick course corrections.
After the intensive, you’ll have 30 days of email support to email me with any questions that come up. This email support period does not involve any extra work or changes, but rather is a chance for me to give you the tools you need to make changes yourself.
*It’s important to note that you are not purchasing completed deliverables, but a block of hours. My experience allows me to work quickly and efficiently, however, there is no guarantee that we will be able to complete everything on your list in a day. During our pre-intensive strategy call, we’ll prioritize your list of needs and I’ll provide realistic expectations of what I should be able to complete. Results will highly depend on the completion of your pre-work prior to starting, and your ability to provide quick feedback on the day of the intensive.

It depends 🙂 I can make you a basic 1-3 page website in a day, depending on what is needed. If you need something a little more complicated, you can book additional days or half-days as needed. If you think this is the case, book a free 20-minute consultation call to discuss how many days would be needed.
This is also highly dependent on your ability to complete the pre-work prior to your intensive date. If you can’t get the prework done in time, we’ll need to reschedule your intensive (because I’ll have nothing to work on!).

Yes definitely! Assuming the website is built in Squarespace, you can book me for a day to work on any updates or fixes you need help with.

I currently only offer this service for Squarespace websites. Because I have extensive expertise with the Squarespace platform, I am able to work quickly and efficiently and get a lot done in just one day.

You will need to be available to quickly respond to any questions I have as well as provide feedback on what I’m working on. While it is a very collaborative process, it is not a full-day meeting – in fact we probably won’t even need to meet on the day of the intensive. Instead, we’ll communicate via a chat app, like Google chat. This arrangement allows me to work quickly and efficiently.

A few days before your intensive, we’ll have an hour-long strategy call to prioritize your list of tasks and make sure we’re on the same page with everything.
We shouldn’t need to meet on the day of the intensive, unless you want to! This will cut into the time I’ll have to work on your website, but sometimes clients want me to walk through and show them how to do certain things on their website (like a live tutorial).

I will need you to fill out a worksheet with info about your business/brand, your services, how you want the website to look, etc. The link to this worksheet will be sent to you shortly after booking.
It is very important that you complete this worksheet to the best of your ability at least 5 days before your intensive, to give me time to look over it prior to our strategy call.

If you let me know at least 7 days before your intensive date, you can reschedule or cancel without losing your payment. It will be held as credit toward a future intensive date, valid for 90 days from your original date at the price you originally paid. After 90+ days, your credit is still valid but you’ll pay the current rate for this service at that time rather than your original price.
If you want a refund instead of future credit, a non-refundable $50 processing fee will be deducted from your refund.
Reschedule requests or cancellations that are 7 days or less prior to your appointment will have credit toward a future intensive date, but will not be locked in at the original rate you paid – so if the price goes up, you will need to pay the updated price.
Day-of cancellations/reschedules or no-shows will result in forfeiture of your payment. This covers the lost calendar slot that could have been used for another client.

On the day of the intensive, I will be sending you updates and asking for feedback/approval throughout the process – this is what makes a sprint work. Due to the collaborative nature of the sprint, there should be no revisions in the same way that there are in a traditional web design project.
In a traditional web design project that lasts several weeks to months, I would work independently on one phase of the project until it’s complete, then would present it to you to get your opinion on it, and then I’d work on reworking the design to incorporate your feedback/revision requests. This back and forth is what can stretch traditional web design projects out so long.
While revisions or additional changes are not included after the intensive, you will get 30 days of post-intensive email support. During this time, you can email me with any questions that come up or things you want to change, and I’ll explain how to do it – the intention being to empower you to be able to make updates to your website on your own in the future.
Of course if you ever need additional help, you can book me for a full or half day at a discounted price for being a previous client. 😊
